Earlier today, I said to someone that when designing this installation, I have been trying to make art that fits the theme while also making something that my daughter would like.

Considering my toughest critic just stole one of the “babies!” from my desk, I’d say the project is going swimmingly. (Wah wah.)  Less than 3 weeks to go, so

Special thanks to my friends at FabLab for their help and patience as I set out to see how big of a laser cut I could make.
Answer: approx. 22″ x 34″.
I still smell like a Russian banya (sauna) from sitting next to the laser cutter for so long. Mm-mm, burnt birch goodness.
